Google might be one of the most innovative companies, but they are also a company that likes to have a lot of fun. Take Easter Eggs for example. They include them all over the place, and Google Now is becoming a very popular destination. XDA memberakhan47 put together this collection of known Easter Eggs. I say known because it's unlikely this is every Easter Egg that is part of Google Now. If you think about it, the possibilities are endless, so I am sure a few more will surface, plus it's likely Google will add more. Be sure to let us know in the comments if you come up with anything that's missing and we will add it. Hit the break for the “complete” (and ongoing) list.
We decided to provide you with only the questions so you can have a little fun with it. Just say any of the phrases listed and listen and/or look for the Easter Egg. Note: the first one won't yield a response since they are just a few more ways to initiate a new search.
- Instead of “OK Google” you can use “Hey Google”, “OK Computer”, “OK Jarvis”, “OK Glass”, “Listen Google”, or “OK Chrome”
- “Make me a sandwich”
- “Sudo/Sudu, make me a sandwich”
- “Beam me up Scotty”
- “When am I?”
- “How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?”
- “What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?”
- “Who are you?”
- “What is the nature of the universe?”
- “What is your favourite color?”
- “What is the answer to life, the universe and everything?”
- “Do a barrel roll”
- “Askew or “Tilt”
- “Who's on first” then as again -from Mad Mike
- “What is the loneliest number?” -from B.J. Davlin
- “What is [insert celebrity's name]‘s bacon number?” -from B.J. Davlin
- “Let's go caroling” (This one might not be available after Christmas)
- “up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right”
- “Hodor”

His first computer was a Radio Shack TRS80 Color that used a cassette tape to save programs, and his first laptop was a Toshiba T1200FB that sported a CGA greyscale screen and two 720kb floppy drives (no hardrive). From the early 90’s through late 2011, he only owned Motorola phones starting with the MircroTAC all the way through to the Droid X. He broke that streak when he bought the Galaxy Nexus. Now he's sporting a Galaxy Note 4, and absolutely loves it.He has a wonderful wife and a 6 year old son. In his free time he enjoys sports, movies, TV, working out, and trying to keep up with the rapid fast world of technology.

Try asking “Who’s on first”. Then try asking it again.

The different names work… But the sayings don’t… I’m on stock 4.3 on a nexus 4… I’m up to date on the Google search. (even the new apk online) I would assume that’s server side though… So I don’t know what the deal is… And yes I have the volume up.

if you initiate the voice search by doing “hello google” or the like, the other ones don’t work. you have to manually hit the voice button, then do the sayings

Do they work in the UK?
Reply
Yes
Reply
You need to have voice input set to English US, go to Google Now, settings, Voice, Then set Language to “English US”…and make sure Hotword detection is on in the same settings menu
Reply
Hopefully they add it to other languages soon so I can set mine to English Canada, I have to fake an American accent so it’ll understand me, lol

This is now working for UK English! :)
